Had a great trip to the park to run 800 repeats mixed some pull-ups. The workout went great and i was able to keep my 8:00/mile pace for all 6 of the repeats

800 meter loop at Heather Farms in Walnut Creek

2 mile warmup at 10:00/mile
6x 800s at 8:00/mile
rest 2-3 minutes
5 pull-ups in between each 800
2 mile cool down at 10:30/mile
7 miles and 25 pull-ups later, i was spent.

I am working on speed during this training block to get faster on my half marathon time. My current PR is 2:04 and I am hoping to hit and official 2:00 during a July event.
